Abstract

This report provides an assessment by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) of the global efforts to address the HIV/AIDS crisis. The report acknowledges the progress made but also highlights the waning international support to combat HIV/AIDS. MSF argues that “[w]hile there is clearly a need to give urgent and additional resources to an array of global health priorities, not least maternal and child health, cutting HIV/AIDS funding is not the answer”.
