Abstract

"Addressing food security and nutrition in all settings is vital to achieving the goal of universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support by 2010, to which all Member States of the United Nations have committed themselves. This policy brief focuses on the interrelationship between food security, nutrition and HIV, and highlights the actions that governments, civil society and international partners can take to promote food security and nutrition in the context of the AIDS epidemic."
