- Summary
ANCAHRD was established on 8 November 1999 and dissolved on 19 September 2003. The peak advisory body to the Federal Government, ANCAHRD was the successor to two former councils, the Australian National Council on AIDS and Related Diseases (ANCARD) and the earlier Australian National Council on AIDS (ANCA). It has been replaced with the Ministerial Advisory Committee on AIDS, Sexual Health and Hepatitis (MACASHH).
