"This Guide was prepared by the Migration Health Department of the International Organization for Migration, with the financial support of the United States Department Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) within the United States Refugee Program (USRP). A first IOM Guide for HIV counsellors was written for South East Asia in 1994. It has been modified in light of changes both in the AIDS epidemic and in the relevant immigration policies of countries to which migrants and refugees are resettled."
