- Abstract
"This Study provides information about current issues and situations, and analyzes the association between mobility and HIV/AIDS within the Greater Mekong Subregion. Highlights of the Mobility Study are: descriptions of the nature of movement within and between countries, descriptions of the cycles of migration, identification of risk situations and geographical "hot spots" for HIV transmission, descriptions of the characteristics of mobile people and migrant communities. The Mobility Study also includes an easy-to-understand "typology" of mobile groups according to gender, age, occupation and other criteria."
