Abstract

"The HIV/AIDS and STI Prevention and Control Project for Bhutan aims to reduce the risk o f HIV and STI transmission among the general population, in particular among groups with high-risk sexual behaviors. Key outcome indicators include: Percentage of persons reporting condom use with last non-regular sex partner increased from to 60% among priority groups and 30% among the general population at project end. Percentage of patients with selected sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at health care facilities who are appropriately treated accordingly to the updated national guidelines increased from to 60% at project end."
