Abstract

"The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing (CDHA) along with the Intergovernmental Committee on Drugs (IGCD) commissioned an evaluation of the National Drug Strategic Framework from 1998-99 to 2002-2003 (NDSF). The Terms of Reference for the Evaluation were to: Assess the impact of the NDSF on reducing supply, demand, and harm to individuals and the community. Based on that assessment, propose any required changes to the NDSF, including related action plans and strategies, in the context of evidence on the most effective strategies for supply, demand and harm reduction."
