"This book is a revised edition of the book Prevention of Blood-borne Diseases in Schools published and issued to schools in 1987. The main aims of producing this book are to introduce to schools and teachers basic facts about bloodborne diseases and their prevention, to recommend precautionary measures for implementation by schools and to suggest strategies and resources on the teaching of blood-borne diseases in schools."
